Cristallo 1 is recognised in Germany as his father's successor.

So much the better, his seed is incredibly fertile.
Cristallo had caused a sensation from his approval at two and a half years old in 2005 and also during the drastic 30-day test: Finalist of his Körung, he will be winner of the test in Münster-Handorf in 2006.
In 2007, he is reserve champion at the prestigious Westphalian Optimum. In 2008, he is champion of Westphalia and finalist at the Bundeschampionat. At the age of 6, he was eighth in the Bundeschampionat. From 2010, he is a frequent winner in the CSI Youngster Tours with Henrik von Eckermann. After being injured, he is counting down his career in 2011.

This is a very expressive stallion showing as much power as Cornet Obolensky on the bars and has an excellent character that makes him very easy to handle.

We don't need to introduce his hot sire who covered a lot from a very young age and very quickly became one of the best sires of winners on the international circuit. Cristallo's dam won in M class and his grandmother in S class in Germany. Both are out of great stallions: Cassini 1 and Pilot.
Cristallo 1's own brother is the stallion... Cristallo 2 who made his sporting career in CSI with the Italian Jerry Smit.

Cristallo was soon noticed by the excellence of his production. Cristallo was no less than seven five year olds at the highly competitive German Championship for Young Horses in Warendorf, with three of them competing in the final.
Chancy K finished fourth. Cristobar was second after the two qualifiers and finished eighth in the final, while in Cristallos Lady they finished twelfth.
Other crystalline offspring that were very noticed from a young age: California, champion of Westphalia; Casablanca, who is the author of three clear rounds at the World Championships in Lanaken. Six of his sons are crowned stallions, among them Cristophin, winner of his Körung.

Showing a good character and a lot of reactivity, this young generation is very sought-after on the other side of the Rhine. The gaits are airy and the withers are powerful.
Cristallo has so many assets that he is easy to cross: He has amplitude, controlled energy and technique.
Its exceptional fertility, unanimously appreciated by the French centres, is also a real generational progress.

It's paradoxical but when a stallion is finally consecrated by his progeny at the highest level
and this happens after a good fifteen years of intensive use of his semen, this is the moment when you have to choose among your sons the one who will be the carrier of the next genetic progress for the next fifteen years.

This inescapable law is that of genetic progress. Breeders who aspire to produce for the Great Sport must make it their own, otherwise they will soon be overtaken by their competitors.
Innovation is the only way to be at the forefront of one's field tomorrow.

This anticipation is four times judicious:

    • The breeder prepares the success of his customers.
    • He stands out from the origins that are copied a thousand times over, whose prices are falling due to an overabundance of supply.
    • Mating is cheaper than that of the sire.
    • The semen is more fertile.

This is why we have been offering you Cristallo 1 (Cornet Obolensky x Cassini 1 x Pilot), a Westphalian top stallion from Ludger Beerbaum's stud, for the past two years.
