The complex comprises a post-weaning and fattening building, a fattening building with a straw-bedded area, and a recently built storage shed. The facilities allow for a rapid return to operation whilst offering potential for expansion in line with the future operator’s needs.

    Pig building – Post-weaning / Fattening
Built in 2000 and modernised in 2008 and again in 2013, this building covers an area of 1,620 m² (27 × 60 m), complemented by a 450 m² courtyard added in 2013.
The building features a steel framework, a fibre-cement roof with gutters, and insulation beneath the roof provided by a suspended ceiling. The façades are clad in open-work timber panelling and fitted with manual and motorised ventilation shutters with sensors, ensuring effective control of the indoor climate.
The walls are made of partially rendered concrete blocks; the floors are concrete with slatted flooring and a loading bay. The whole building is fitted with windows, doors, concrete troughs and an electrical installation including lighting and conduit.
Feed is supplied in both liquid and dry form. The facilities also include polyester silos ranging from 1.5 tonnes to 15 tonnes, as well as stainless steel drinkers for the post-weaning stage and enamelled cast-iron drinkers for the fattening stage.

    Feed mill and workshop building:

Built in 2006, this building is enclosed on three sides.
The structure is supported by a steel framework with a roof and cladding made of corrugated steel sheets. The walls are constructed from formwork-cast concrete blocks and ‘T’-shaped blocks for the silo corridor. The floor is entirely concrete and the building has a fully fitted electrical system.
