Qorlandus – 2026 Selle Français foal – Fynch Hatton x Iemesis x Vitalis – Bay – Dressage prospect
What if his name predestined him for the same future as his namesake CORLANDUS? QORLANDUS is an elegant Selle Français foal born in 2026, offering a particularly attractive prospect for an amateur or professional rider wishing to invest in a young dressage horse to develop for the future.
Well-balanced, energetic and willing, he already shows a spirited temperament and excellent responsiveness. His dressage-oriented pedigree, combined with a solid foundation of Selle Français show jumping bloodlines, is one of his main assets, which could see him specialise in pure dressage and even eventing, with the Fynch Hatton – Iemesis – by Vitalis x Voltaire x Night And Day lineage
Still a foal, Qorlandus is naturally at the very beginning of his development. He is therefore suited to a buyer capable of thinking long-term and seeking, above all, pedigree, natural qualities and the potential to develop gradually, at a very affordable price.
Dressage and show jumping pedigree
Qorlandus is by Fynch Hatton, a dressage-oriented stallion recognised for his modern conformation, expression, the quality of his movement and his progeny.
His dam’s line also incorporates the bloodlines of Vitalis, Voltaire, Night And Day, etc., unquestionably contributing a dressage orientation, but also a show jumping orientation. Many of his collateral relatives have high dressage and show jumping indices.
This genetic combination makes him a young horse worth watching for a competitive dressage/eventing programme, whether for an ambitious rider, a professional, or potentially for breeding purposes depending on his development.
A foal with spirit and balance
Even at such a young age, Qorlandus already stands out for his temperament:
balanced,
energetic,
determined,
spirited.
He therefore presents an interesting prospect for a sporting programme seeking a responsive horse with a natural forward drive. Winner of the local and Regional Breeding Shows at the Haras du Pin in Normandy with a very impressive average score of 18.30!
As with any foal, his physical and athletic development will, of course, continue to develop over the coming years.
Day-to-day
Qorlandus has already received a good level of training appropriate to his age.
In particular, he is:
easy to handle and care for,
used to being transported,
used to living in the paddock.
The aim is to continue his development in a manner appropriate to his age, in order to preserve both his physical qualities and his good behaviour.
What is he suited for?
Qorlandus may be of particular interest to:
an ambitious amateur with good support who wishes to acquire their future horse at a very young age,
a young rider supported by professionals looking to build a long-term plan,
a professional looking for a dressage prospect,
a rider wishing to gradually prepare a horse for competition,
a breeder or stud owner wishing to monitor the horse’s development with a view to breeding.
His pedigree and initial natural qualities make it possible to envisage an ambitious programme in competitive sport, whilst allowing him the time he needs to mature and gradually fulfil his potential.
